Activity 4: Review 30-32. Read 32-37. Identifies the structure/organization/membership of the league. Making a chart, list characteristics that make the league effective and ineffective. Try to have at least 10 examples! If you would like to use a website, there is one below you can peruse. Focus on the organization and not the individual cases though, as we will look at these later.

Week of 8/22 to 8/26
This week, we did the following
1) Finished the timeline complete with image.
2) Did Cornell notes on Trench Warfare and WWI. First World War notes are here and Trench Warfare notes are here.
3)On Friday, we read a one pager on the World War. We then answered four questions on that sheet. If you need that work, please talk to me. These were the questions:

2) Why had Russia left the war by January 1918?
3) How did the USA come to join the war? What difference did this make?
4) Summarize the section German defeat and the Armistice.

About Mr. Randall
Mr. Randall was born in Seattle, WA in 1983. In 2005, he was a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Pacific Lutheran University, where he obtained his BA in Education/Social Studies with a minor in History. In addition, Mr. Randall earned an M.A. in American History (graduating with honors!).
Mr. Randall is in his 9th year as an educator. In addition to teaching, he has coached several sports and has enjoyed being involved in student government.
From July 2008-July 2010, Mr. Randall was an account manager for National Business Accounts at Qwest Communications in Seattle, WA. While there, he received eleven different certificates of achievement for sales and account support and was named account manager of the quarter in 2009.
Mr. Randall was lucky enough to be hired to teach at San Pasqual Valley High School for the 2015-2016 school year. He is excited to be teaching in California!
